Specific tasks often form part of an individual ASLs PDR and these are discussed every six months. The Best Value Action Plan is updated as targets are met and the Service Plan is reviewed in March of each year.

Future Plans

The aim of the SLS is to continue to provide quality services in order to maintain its high level of subscription by schools. The SLS will continue to support and respond to changing curriculum needs at all Key Stages, monitor new Education developments and respond. Future improvements to the School Library Service will be linked where appropriate to the outcomes in the Education Development Plan and to initiatives undertaken with other partners, both in Education and externally. Schools will be consulted on a regular basis, both about the general level of service and training we provide in order to ensure that we are delivering according to their needs.
