1.1 The following decision is sought:

1.2. That the remaining £27,050 be transferred to capital to support the planned building improvements at Hamble Youth Centre.

2. Reasons

2.1 The Youth Panel at its meeting on 13th March 2003 advised the Executive Member for Education to approve grant allocations totalling £19,700 and that the remaining balance of £27,050 be transferred to capital to support the planned building improvements at Hamble Youth Centre. Further details are set out in the appendix.

3. Other Options Considered and Rejected: Not to make these grants. However, it is considered that making these grants constitutes an effective use of resources considering the benefits that they will bring.
