1 Summary

1.1 This report seeks the executive Member's agreement that:

    a) Satisfactory progress has been made in implementing the action
    plans of the Year 1 and Year 2 Best Value reviews.

    b) In future the monitoring of the development of these services should
    take place through the business or service planning arrangements.

2 Reason

2.1 This report covers a report to the Education Policy Review Committee on 25 March 2003, summarising progress on the implementations of the action plans for the seven first year and six second year Best Value (BV) reviews.
