1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That the Hampshire County Youth Service - Youth Work Plan for 2003/04 be approved.

2. Reasons

2.1.1 The Youth Panel at its meeting on 11 March 2003 advised the Executive Member for Education to approve the Hampshire County Youth Service - Youth Work Plan for 2003/04. The Panel welcomed the adoption of the plan but considered that the objectives as set out in pages 19 to 28 were aspirational with a mismatch between the targets set and the lack of resources available to achieve them. It was therefore resolved that the Executive Member for Education approve the plan but with deletion of pages 19 to 28 inclusive.
