STRATEGIC PLANNING JOINT ADVISORY PANEL
A meeting of the Strategic Planning Joint Advisory Panel will take place on Wednesday 2 April 2003 at 10.00 am in the Conference Room, Ashburton Court, The Castle, Winchester, when your attendance is requested.
Car parking has been arranged in the Top Deck Car Park - a map is attached for information. Please have these papers to hand to show the car park attendant. Refreshments will be served from 9.30am.

To consider a report of the Hampshire Director of Environment, Portsmouth City Planning Officer and Southampton Executive Director of Development and Sustainability detailing future arrangements for Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton in light of Government proposals detailed in the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Bill.
7. HAMPSHIRE COUNTY STRUCTURE PLAN (REVIEW) POLICY H4 MONITORING PAPER 2003 (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Hampshire Director of Environment, Portsmouth City Planning Officer and Southampton Executive Director of Development and Sustainability informing the Panel of the conclusions arising from the Hampshire County Structure Plan (Review) 1996-2011 Policy H4 Monitoring Paper 2003 and the outcome of consultation.
8. HAMPSHIRE HOUSE COMPLETIONS STUDY - OUTCOME OF CONSULTATION (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Hampshire Director of Environment, Portsmouth City Planning Officer and Southampton Executive Director of Development and Sustainability informing the Panel of the conclusions arising from consultation on the Hampshire House Completions Study.
9. `SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES: BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE' - IMPLICATIONS FOR HAMPSHIRE, PORTSMOUTH AND SOUTHAMPTON (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Hampshire Director of Environment, Portsmouth City Planning Officer and Southampton Executive Director of Development and Sustainability detailing the key areas of the Communities Plan and the implications for future strategic planning activity.

To consider a report of the Hampshire Director of Environment, Portsmouth City Planning Officer and Southampton Executive Director of Development and Sustainability setting out how Local Planning Authorities are progressing their local plans, including information on housing supply, urban capacity studies and Major Development Areas.
11. HAMPSHIRE, PORTSMOUTH AND SOUTHAMPTON MINERALS AND WASTE LOCAL PLAN REVIEW (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Hampshire Director of Environment, Portsmouth City Planning Officer and Southampton Executive Director of Development and Sustainability considering the way forward for the preparation of Minerals and Waste Development Frameworks as envisaged in the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Bill.
12. DATE, TIME AND VENUE FOR NEXT MEETING OF THE PANEL
To agree a date, time and venue for the next meeting of the Panel.
County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
