Appointments to Outside Bodies

1 Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That Councillor K.G. Chapman be appointed as the County Council representative on the Basingstoke Theatre Trust Board of Directors and the Proteus Theatre Company, Basingstoke Board of Directors in place of Councillor P.A. Heath.

2 Reason

2.1 Councillor Heath is unable to continue as the representative on these bodies due to pressure on his time.

3 Other options considered and rejected

3.1 Not to appoint replacement representatives. However, it is proposed to continue to support those outside bodies by making the appointments referred to.
