The following decision is sought:

That approval be given to the project appraisal for a three-classroom and PE store extension at Shakespeare Junior School at an estimated cost of up to £348,000, excluding fees.

Reason

2.1

To provide permanent classroom accommodation to facilitate the removal of temporary buildings from site.

3.1

The need of the school for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost effective way of meeting that need.
