1. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

To consider a report of the Director of Environment clarifying the latest position in respect of the collection, processing and reporting of Best Value Performance Indicators (BVPIs) relating to highway network condition.

To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing the work carried out to date to cease the district agency arrangements for highway maintenance in Hampshire and to bring the work back under Hampshire County Council management.
9. MANAGEMENT REVIEW OF THE HIGHWAY DEVELOPMENT CONTROL SERVICE (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing the outcomes of a management review carried out to consider the current procedures involving both the County and District Councils in the delivery of the highway aspects of major and minor road development proposals, design check and inspections of Sections 38 and 278 highway Agreements and in responding to the highway elements of land charge searches, following the Committee's deferral of the item at its meeting on 7 May 2003.

To consider a report of the Director of Environment advising Members of the draft Bus Strategy which has been prepared for consultation with stakeholders and includes information on the background to the document, content overview, key issues raised and the timescale for consultation.
11. CONSULTATION OF THE BLACKWATER VALLEY SUB-REGIONAL STUDY (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment outlining the County Council's response to the Blackwater Valley Sub-Regional Study produced by consultants Atkins and Ancer SPA as required in the revised Regional Planning Guidance for the South East.
12. FINAL ACCOUNTS 2002/03 (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the County Treasurer and Director of Environment summarising the Environment service's spending in 2002/03.

To consider a report of the Chief Executive informing Members of an urgent decision taken by the Executive Member for Environment on 24 June 2003 regarding Chandlers Ford Railway Station.
County Councillors attending as appointed members of this Committee or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
