Framework Agreements

Malmsbury Lawn Home for the Elderly

The scheme for alteration and refurbishment of the home now needs to be committed to and will be undertaken with Balfour Beatty who submitted the best value proposals as part of their Framework bid.

South Basingstoke Schools Reorganisation

Wates Construction submitted the best value first stage tender proposals for the Hatch Warren scheme as part of their bid for the Framework Agreement. It is now proposed that this project is developed with Wates and that consideration is also given to creating an overall package of work which would encompass the work at Manor Fields Infant and Junior Schools plus the scheme at Chalk Ridge Primary School. The scheme at Hatch Warren is also likely to include a major roofing repairs package. By combining the schemes and offering a larger package to the market place an economy of scale should be achieved and our overall management will be simplified.
