Summary

1.1

The following decision is sought:

That, subject to the approval of a project appraisal for the creation of a Discovery Centre in Havant, authority be given for the taking of a tenancy of further accommodation at the Meridian Centre, Havant on terms and conditions to be settled by the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services (Head of Estates Practice).

Reason

2.1

Acquisition of additional accommodation at the Centre will enable the existing Havant Library to be expanded and improved, and a Discovery Centre established.
