1. Summary

1.1. The following decision is sought:

1.1.1 That the "Our Communities-Our Future: East Hampshire's Community Strategy 2003-2007 First Update" be approved.

1.1.2 That the Director of Environment arrange to discuss the resource implications of this strategy with the Executive Member for Community Development and Regeneration and the Community Strategy Officer and that the outcome be reported to The Leader of the County Council by the end of August 2003.

1. Reason(s):

2.1 Hampshire County Council is a key partner on the East Hampshire Community Partnership which has prepared the ``East Hampshire's Community Strategy 2003-2007 First Update'' Hampshire County Council approval of this document is necessary for the strategy to be implemented.

2.2 The Community Strategies are identified in the Forward Plan and as such this
