That approval be given to: 1. The project appraisal for classroom/playgroup extensions and associated internal alteration and refurbishment works at Manor Fields Infant and Junior Schools at an estimated cost of up to £1.97m, excluding fees to be funded initially from the School Balances Loan Scheme and to be repaid subsequently from anticipated capital receipts. 2. The contract being combined with Hatch Warren Infant and Junior Schools and completed under a partnership arrangement linked to the Major Projects Framework Agreement. |

To provide additional classroom and nursery facilities to accommodate the anticipated rise in roll numbers associated with the review of primary education provision that has been undertaken in the southwest area of Basingstoke. |
