SUMMARY

The following decision is sought:

That authority be given to the Director of Social Services to negotiate single tenders for the provision of domiciliary care services in the Liphook/Bordon area.

REASONS

The proposal represents the most economically viable arrangement for the County Council and will provide continuity of service for vulnerable people and their carers.

Other options concerned and rejected:

Competitive tender considered but rejected in view of the market situation in the operational area concerned.
