To consider the report of the Director of Environment which provides Members with a progress report on the major development areas identified in the Structure Plan, proposes a more proactive approach to bringing forward other major development areas, and recommends that support be conveyed to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for the West of Basingstoke (Manydown) Major Development Area as representing the most appropriate location to meet the strategic development needs of Basingstoke, post 2011.
