The following decisions are sought:

That approval be given the design project appraisal at Hythe Primary School at an estimated cost of £757,000, excluding fees.

2.1

To provide a new extension consisting of a hall, kitchen, music room and therapy room, plus remodelling of the existing kitchen and hall to form two classrooms and an IT suite.

The need of the school for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost-effective way of meeting that need.
