To consider a report of the Director of Environment updating Members on the delivery of the Local Transport Plan and the content of Hampshire County Council's third Annual Progress Report submitted to the Government Office for the South East and the Department for Transport on 31 July 2003.
6. BASINGSTOKE TRANSPORT MONITORING (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment and Director of Planning, Environment, and Transport (Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council) detailing the monitoring exercise undertaken in March 2003 as part of the Basingstoke Environmental Strategy for Transport and involving an extensive programme of surveys covering road traffic, cycling, pedestrian activity, bus and train use and air quality.
7. DRAFT TRANSPORT CAPITAL PROGRAMME 2004/05 AND 2005/06 FOR CONSULTATION (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment outlining the indicative programmes for the Integrated Transport Capital Programme for 2004/05 and 2005/06.

To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing a list of priority schemes determined by the County Council and the Borough Council in response to concerns regarding funding availability for the Basingstoke Environmental Strategy for Transport.

To consider a report of the Director of Environment reviewing the current Area Transportation Strategy Panels.
10. PUBLIC SERVICE AGREEMENT BUS MARKETING PROGRAMME (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment summarising the intensive marketing programme that will commence shortly on a number of the best performing bus routes in the County.
11. PROPOSED NORTH OF POPLEY DEVELOPMENT AND NORTH BASINGSTOKE ACTION PLAN: TRANSPORT OPPORTUNITIES (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment and Director of Planning, Environment and Transport (Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council) concerning potential opportunities to improve transport facilities in and beyond the proposed development area.
County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Orders 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
