1. CRANBORNE CHASE AND WEST WILTSHIRE DOWNS AREA OF OUTSTANDING NATURAL BEAUTY MANAGEMENT PLAN: CONSULTATION DRAFT (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the Director of Environment and the Director of
    Recreation and Heritage seeking approval of the draft Management Plan for
    Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs Area of Outstanding Natural
    Beauty.

    (NB: This decision will be taken jointly with the Executive Member for
    Spatial Strategy and the Executive Member for Recreation and Heritage.)

2. PROJECT APPRAISAL: EUROPEAN UNION - CIVITAS INITIATIVE - MIRACLES PROJECT (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a Project Appraisal for the installation of a variety of sustainable transport measures in Winchester, associated with the European Union's CIVITAS initiative MIRACLES Project.

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of the Country Towns Initiative programme for 2004/05 and 2005/06, subject to the availability of finance.

4. TRAVEL PLAN PARTNERSHIP FUND (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval to set aside funds from the Capital Programme for a Travel Plan Partnership Fund in order to provide match funding for businesses, organisations and schools to provide on site facilities to assist in reducing dependency on car travel, subject to final decisions regarding the 2004/05 Capital Programme.

5. CREATING A SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL DEMONSTRATION TOWN: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IN DEPARTMENT FOR TRANSPORT INITIATIVE (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval for Andover to be submitted as the County Council's preferred town for the Department for Transport's Sustainable Travel Demonstration Town initiative.
