1. SOUTH DOWNS (INCORPORATING EAST HAMPSHIRE AREA OF OUTSTANDING NATURAL BEAUTY) INTERIM MANAGEMENT PLAN: CONSULTATION DRAFT (Report herewith)

    To consider a joint report of the Director of Environment and the Director of Recreation and Heritage seeking approval of the comments detailed in paragraphs 4.2 to 4.32 on the draft Interim Management Plan for the South Downs.

2. SOUTH HAMPSHIRE RAPID TRANSIT - A3 PORTSMOUTH-WATERLOOVILLE-HORNDEAN PUBLIC TRANSPORT CORRIDOR PROGRESS REPORT AND SECTION 2A PURBROOK VILLAGE PROJECT APPRAISAL (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment updating progress on the South Hampshire Rapid Transit A3 Portsmouth-Waterlooville-Horndean Public Transport Corridor and seeking approval of a Project Appraisal for Section 2a Purbrook Village.

3. TRANSPORT CAPITAL PROGRAMME - MAJOR SCHEME ANNOUNCEMENT FOR A3 BUS PRIORITY CORRIDOR AND PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO 2003/04 PROGRAMME (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval for amendments to the Transport Capital Programme 2003/04 in light of the recent major scheme announcement for the A3 Bus Priority Corridor.

4. REGIONAL MINERALS STRATEGY - CONSULTATION DRAFT

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval to inform the South East England Regional Assembly of the County Council's views on the draft Regional Minerals Strategy.

    To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a course of action, as detailed in paragraph 1, in respect of the Material Resources Strategy.

6. REVENUE BUDGET MONITORING 2003/04 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Treasurer and Director of Environment detailing the latest revenue budget monitoring position for the Environment services.

7. COUNTY-WIDE REVIEW OF STRATEGY AREAS AND TRANSPORTATION STRATEGY PANELS (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a course of action in respect of the Review of the Strategy Areas and Transportation Strategy Panels.

8. UNMETERED ENERGY PROCUREMENT - APRIL 2004

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a course of actions to ensure that the most advantageous contract rates for the supply of unmetered electrical energy can be accepted when the present contract ceases at midnight on 31 March 2004.

9. BUS PRIORITY POLICY (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval, for consultation purposes, of the draft Bus Priority Policy Guidance and other measures to assist with the implementation of such a policy.

10. NEW FOREST TRANSPORT STRATEGY DOCUMENT

    To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval to adopt the New Forest Transport Strategy document, to be reviewed in light of the formal definition of the National Park boundary and review of the area strategy boundaries at an appropriate time.

11. CHANGES TO MANAGEMENT OF NEW FOREST DISTRICT COUNCIL OFF-STREET CAR PARKS (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval to inform New Forest District Council that the introduction of parking charges in off-street car parks controlled by the district council is supported in principle and that consent be given in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, subject to a number of conditions as detailed in the report.

    To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval to publish the South Hampshire Study for information.

13. PROJECT APPRAISAL: A30/A340 ROUTE 1 BASINGSTOKE QUALITY BUS PARTNERSHIP (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a Project Appraisal to carry out infrastructure improvements to the Basingstoke bus corridor, as part of the Basingstoke Quality Bus Partnership.

14. PROJECT APPRAISAL: GOSPORT BUS STOP INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a Project Appraisal to provide improvements to roadside infrastructure along the key bus route in Gosport's Bridgemary estate.
