1.1. The following decision is sought.

That Councillor Sir James Scott be appointed as the County Council's representative on the Members' Group for the Forest of Bere Steering Group.

2. Reason

The Forest of Bere Steering Group has agreed to resurrect its Members' Group with 1 Member being appointed from the relevant authorities. Having consulted with Councillors Capt. Estlin and Glen, their nomination is for Councillor Sir James Scott to fill the County Council's vacancy on the Members' Group. He would be happy to accept the position. It is for the Leader of the County Council to make this appointment.
