Summary

The following decision is sought:

That approval be given to the project appraisal for Brune Park Community School at Gosport at an estimated cost of £1,101,000, excluding fees.

Reason

2.1

To provide Dance Studio and dining room extensions which will increase school capacity to 1,750 places in line with the forecast number on roll.

Other options considered and rejected

3.1

The need of the school for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost effective way of meeting that need.
