Non PAF Indicators
There are major indicators resulting from the Climbie Audit which are being closely monitored through the Children and Families Performance Action Group. These include:

_ Percentage of core assessments taking more than 35 working days
_ Children looked after not having a named key worker
_ Children on the Child Protection Register not having a named key worker
_ Timeliness of Reviews
ADULT SERVICES
B11 Intensive Home Care as a percentage of intensive home and residential care
2001-2 result 17%, Two blobs, Ask questions - good performance 30%<50% nationwide.
2002-3 result 20%, Three blobs, Acceptable
The number of households receiving intensive home help/care as a percentage of all adults and older people in residential and nursing care and households receiving intensive home help/care.
A study of other indicators shows that this one is poor due to lack of intensive care at home, rather than too much use of residential and nursing care. As such it does not need a separate action plan.
C28 Intensive Home Care
Two blobs, Ask questions.
2001-2 results 5.7, Two blobs, Ask questions - good performance 16<45 nationwide.
2002-3 results 6.6%, Two blobs, Ask questions.

The percentage of older service users receiving an assessment that are from minority ethnic groups, divided by the percentage of older people in the local population that are from minority ethnic groups.
Although only 2 blobs, the DoH only awards 2 or 3 blobs and Hampshire's performance is now comparable with national averages.
