Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority

PRECEPTING FROM 1 APRIL, 2004

As a result of the Local Government Bill receiving its Royal Assent on 18 September, 2003, the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority, like other Combined Fire Authorities, will become a precepting authority from 1 April, 2004. It has appointed a joint Members'/Officers' Working Group to investigate the issues involved in order that they can be considered and agreed by the Authority without delay.
