Summary

The following decision is sought:

That the Executive Member for Education approves the project appraisal for a new hall, associated store and kitchen servery at Grateley Primary School, at an estimated cost of up to £419,000 excluding fees.

Reason

2.1

The school does not currently have a hall and this scheme will provide a purpose-built hall.

3.1

The need of the school and local community for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost effective way of meeting that need.
