1. Summary

1.1. The following decision is sought:

That Dr. R. Smith be re-appointed as the County Council's representative on the Swanmore Education Charity for a further four-year period expiring in October 2007.

2. Reason

2.1. To ensure continued County Council representation on the Charity. Dr. Smith has proved an effective representative for the past 4 years, has attended all its meetings, and has also fulfilled the role of secretary to the Charity. He has provided the Executive Member with a summary of the Charity's work and of his contribution to it during his last four-year term of office.
