Summary

The following decision is sought:

That the Executive Member for Education advises the Executive Member for Policy and Resources that the project appraisal for the construction of a new Early Years Centre at Park Primary School, Aldershot at an estimated cost of up to £609,000, excluding fees, be approved.

Reason

2.1

To provide a purpose designed Early Years Centre with 69 places for 0-5 years.

3.1

The need of the school and local community for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost effective way of meeting that need.
