Summary

The following decision is sought:

That the Executive Member for Education advises the Executive Member for Policy and Resources that the project appraisal for a new two classroom extension at an estimated cost of up to £482,000, excluding fees, be approved.

Reason

2.1

To provide two new classrooms to replace two existing double temporary classrooms.

3.1

The need of the school and local community for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost effective way of meeting that need.
