1. Summary

1.1. The following decisions are sought.:

That the Panel advise the Executive Member for Policy and Resources to recommend to the County Council:

(i) That the terms of reference for the Panel be amended to include a new "(j) The development of the Corporate Procurement Strategy, the management arrangements for the implementation of the Strategy, and to provide an overview of all the County Council's procurement activities including the development of e-procurement and e-tendering initiatives".


(ii) That in view of (i) above, the Panel be re-named the Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel.

2. Reason(s)

2.1. To facilitate work on the Corporate Procurement Strategy and procurement activities, the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services is proposing to report, as appropriate, on these matters to the Panel. Therefore, an amended terms of reference is proposed and a new name for the Panel to reflect this change.
