Summary |
1.1 |
Liphook Infant School shares a site with Liphook CE(C) Junior School and is located in a residential area. The school buildings are a mix of traditional build and SCOLA. The main building was erected in 1968 and a two classroom extension was added in 2000. There are currently 237 children (age 4-7) on roll. |

An allocation of £190,000, excluding fees, has been made in Education's 2004/05 Capital Programme for a scheme to construct a classroom extension to provide three form entry (3FE). The estimated cost of these works is £264,000, excluding fees, and the school is contributing the remaining £74,000, excluding fees. |

The Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services has progressed the design of the proposed additional accommodation and the purpose of this report is to outline the design proposals and seek approval to the attached design project appraisal. |
