The following decision is sought: |

That the Executive Member for Education advises the Executive Member for Policy and Resources that the project appraisal for the construction of Phase 1 works at Perins Community School at an estimated cost of up to £1,551,000 excluding fees, be approved. |

2.1 |
To provide ancillary accommodation in order to deliver high-quality sports education for pupils, provide health and fitness clinics for the local community and offer sports science facilities for minority sports based both locally and nationally. |

This decision supports Aims 1 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by providing enhanced facilities not only for the school, but for minority sports both locally and nationally. |
