SUMMARYThe following decision is sought: That authority be given to the Director of Social Services to invite tenders for the provision of domiciliary care services in South West Hampshire. |

REASONSThe proposal represents the most economically viable arrangement for the County Council and will provide continuity of service for vulnerable people and their carers. Links to Corporate Strategy Social care commissioning is fundamental to achieving the aims of maximising life opportunities, the focus on quality and cost contribute to improving services and the procurement strategy will assist with achieving economic prosperity. |
