1.1 That Hampshire County Council, as the Administering Authority (AA) for Supporting People invite tenders for a future Home Improvement Agency (HIA) contract for East Hampshire, Winchester and Test Valley

2.1 This decision supports Aim 1 of the Corporate Strategy by helping to allow people to remain in their own homes should they chose to do so.

2.2 This decision supports Aim 4 of the Corporate Strategy by enabling people to have an active part in the community.

2.3 This decision supports Aim 5 of the Corporate Strategy by improving services to become County wide.

3.1 As these proposals are in line with Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) requirements no other options have been considered.
