1. Summary

1.1 The final working party took place on 22 January for the review of the agreed syllabus. Representatives worked hard during the three working days and, as a result of the meetings documentation for the syllabus has now been developed and refined ensuring accessibility for all key stages and clear guidance for implementing the requirements. (Appendix 1 available at the meeting)

1.2 The RE team will continue to work on the documentation to ensure that the working party's agreed suggestions are implemented.

Recommendation

That the Standing Advisory Conference agree that the RE team of inspectors continue with the process of revising the Agreed Syllabus.
