1. Summary

1.1 The following decisions were taken:-

(i) That the Cabinet notes with concern the report on Fire Service Regional Management Boards and the unacceptable erosion of local accountability for fire services which is not in the interests of the people of Hampshire.

(ii) That a further report be submitted to Cabinet when matters have progressed further.

2. Reason

2.1 This decision supports Aim 4 (Building strong and safe communities) and Aim 5 (Improving services) of the Corporate Strategy.
