5. YOUTH WORK PLAN (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer detailing the draft Youth Work Plan 2004/05 for the Hampshire County Youth Service responding to national guidance to ensure quality youth work is developed. The report recommends the draft Plan for approval by the Executive Member for Education.

6. YOUTH SERVICE - DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer providing information about youth work and training carried out by the Development and Training Team with reference to key issues. The report also provides information on current work and planned developments.

7. ANNUAL REVENUE GRANTS 2004/2005 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer providing details of the annual revenue grants to voluntary youth organisations and recommending to the Executive Member for Education allocations.

8. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT GRANTS 2003/04 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Chief Executive summarising project development grant applications considered by the Chairman and County Youth Officer on further information received since the last meeting of the Panel.

To consider a report of the County Education Officer summarising project development grant applications received since the last meeting and recommending to the Executive Member for Education allocations.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.

Independent Members similarly qualify for payment of travelling expenses.
