1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That the draft Hampshire County Youth Service Youth Work Plan for 2004/05 be approved.

2. Reasons

2.1 The Youth Panel at its meeting on 18 March 2004 advised the Executive

Member for Education to approve the draft Hampshire County Youth Service

Youth Work Plan for 2004/05, responding to national guidance to ensure

quality youth work is developed. The Panel welcomed the adoption of the

plan.

2.2 The Youth Work Plan supports Corporate Strategy Aim 5, Improving

Services, as well as contributing to the Cabinet priority for Youth.

2.3 Copies are available in the Members Room and the document can be further

viewed on the Hampshire County Youth Service website -

www.youth.hants.gov.uk.
