1. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

To consider the report of the County Education Officer on the outcome of consultations with schools in the North West Farnborough area and to give advice thereon to the Executive Member for Education.

6. HAWTHORNS SCHOOL AND ASHWOOD EDUCATION CENTRE, BASINGSTOKE (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Education Officer setting out details of the outcomes of consultations held in relation to the future of these schools and to give advice thereon to the Executive Member for Education.

7. COMBATING RACIAL HARASSMENT : ANNUAL REPORT

To consider the report of the County Education Officer providing an overview of the work of Hampshire County Council as Local Education Authority (LEA) in relation to its statutory duty to promote race equality including the annual data on racial incidents in schools.

8. QUESTIONS TO THE EXECUTIVE MEMBER FOR EDUCATION

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.

Appointed and co-opted members similarly qualify for payment of travelling expenses.
