1. Summary

1.1 The following Decision is sought:

i) that a grant of £2,000 be made to the Jubilee Field Management Committee, Sway towards initial equipping costs for their new pavilion.

2. Reason

2.1 The Committee has raised funds to provide a much-needed pavilion for the village community. In order to hasten the operational availability of the facility for community use a grant of £2,000, to be met from funds set aside by the Executive Member, Policy and Resources, is recommended to assist with the purchase of tables, chairs, crockery and the installation of heating and water services.

2.2 This decision supports the Corporate Strategy by helping to build stronger and safer communities and improving community buildings to allow local people to access the services and facilities that they need.
