Summary

The following decisions are sought:

That the Executive Member for Education advises the Executive Member for Policy and Resources that the project appraisal for a new block of general teaching classrooms at Kings' School, Winchester, at an estimated cost of up to £1.4m, excluding fees, be approved.

Reason

2.1

To provide additional teaching accommodation in the form of a new block of general teaching classrooms.

3.1

The need of the school for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost-effective way of meeting that need.
