To consider a report of the County Education Officer summarising the achievements of Hampshire County Youth Service in relation to the targets set nationally in the annual Youth Work Plan and the progress made implementing the Transforming Youth Work Development Plan.

6. CITIZENSHIP WORK WITH YOUNG PEOPLE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer providing information about the contribution of the Youth Service to Hampshire County Council's Education Department's citizenship work with young people.

7. YOUTH SERVICE WORK IN THE HART DISTRICT (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer providing information about youth work supported in the Hart District by the Hampshire County Youth Service including the key youth work issues, current work and planned developments.

8. THE FUTURE OF THE AWARD PROJECT - A DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S AWARD PROJECT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WESSEX YOUTH OFFENDING TEAM AND HAMPSHIRE COUNTY YOUTH SERVICE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Chief Executive providing information on The Award Project, the opportunities for and implications of keeping it operational beyond September 2004.

Independent Members similarly qualify for payment of travelling expenses.
