(i) To receive a presentation from the Highways Agency on its 2004/05 works

(ii) To consider a report of the Director of Environment responding to the motion

      presented by Councillor Wall to the County Council meeting on 1 April 2004 regarding the responsibility for litter collection on all trunk roads.

7. TERM MAINTENANCE CONTRACT (RAYNESWAY)/HIGHWAY

PERFORMANCE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment providing an update on the

Highways Term Maintenance Contract, maintenance activities and performance

indicators.

8. TRANSPORT CAPITAL PROGRAMME 2003/04 AND 2004/05 PROGRESS

REPORT AND PROGRAMME AMENDMENTS (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing 2003/04 and 2004/05

programme amendments which are proposed to reflect slippage in the programmes

and variations in costs of some schemes.

9. FINAL ACCOUNTS 2003/04 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Treasurer and Director of Environment

summarising the Environment Service's spending in 2003/04.

10. IT STRATEGY (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment setting out how decisions on

investment in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) are made and

prioritised.

11. ANNUAL REPORT ON COMPLIMENTS AND COMPLAINTS

MONITORING (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing complaints and

compliments recorded during the period April 2003 to March 2004 and follows on

from the Annual Report covering the period April 2002 to March 2003 which was

presented to this Committee on 29 October 2003.

12. REQUESTS BY MEMBERS FOR ITEMS TO BE CONSIDERED AT A

FUTURE MEETING OF THE ENVIRONMENT POLICY REVIEW

COMMITTEE

    Three requests for items to be considered at a future meeting of the Committee have been received from Councillor M J Roberts:-

    "Outcome of the Government's Strategic Review of the Rail System"

    "National Cycling and Walking Strategy Document"


13. ENVIRONMNENT POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE - FORWARD PLAN

    To consider a report of the Chief Executive and Director of Environment setting out issues which the Committee may wish to discuss at future meetings

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this Committee or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
