1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That the attached Adult Learning Development Plan be presented to the County Council for approval and submitted to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Learning and Skills Council for funding in 2004/2005.

2. Reason

2.1 The Adult Learning Development Plan is required by the Learning and Skills Council in order to secure funding for the County Council's adult and community learning provision.

2.2 The Adult Learning Development Plan for 2003/2006 further develops the strategies described in the 2003/2004 Adult Learning Plan which is currently being implemented.
