The following decision is sought:

To appoint Councillor P.A. Pierce to attend the meeting of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Flood Defence Committee on 28 July 2004 as deputy for Councillor J.K. West on this and on other future occasions as required.

This decision supports Aim 2 of the Corporate Strategy - Stewardship of the Environment.

Councillor J.K. West is unable to attend on this occasion and the County Council should be fully represented.
