Summary

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

That the Executive Member for Policy and Resources approves the project appraisal at Nightingale Primary School at an estimated cost of up to £1,130,000, excluding fees.

Reason(s)

2.1

To extend the school to provide permanent classroom accommodation.

2.2

This decision supports Aims 1 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by providing improved facilities to benefit the school.

3.1

The need of the school for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost-effective way of meeting that need.
