1.1 The following decision is sought.

1. That authority be given to the Director of Social Services to negotiate a single tender for the provision of a domiciliary personal care service in the Eastleigh area.

This decision supports Aim 1 of the Corporate Strategy `Maximising Life Opportunities'. The partnership approach with local care providers assists with Aim 3 `Achieving Economic Prosperity' and the focus on quality and cost contributes to Aim 5 `Improving Services'.
