To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing the responsibilities in

the revised planning system for minerals and waste planning and for assisting the

Regional Assembly with the preparation of the new Regional Spatial Strategy - the

`South East Plan'

7. SCHEME ESTIMATING AND REPORTING (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment identifying the current processes

surrounding the development of cost estimates, highlighting the risk areas

encountered both in Hampshire and nationally within the construction industry and to

set out an improvement plan to be taken forward over the next 12 months, following

an independent review undertaken by the County Treasurer.

8. TRANSPORT CAPITAL PROGRAMME 2004/05 - PROGRESS AND

PROGRAMME AMENDMENTS (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment updating progress and

amendments on the 2004/05 Capital Programme.

9. REVENUE BUDGET MONITORING 2004/05 FIRST QUARTER

(Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Treasurer and the Director of Environment

providing the first budget monitoring review for 2004/05 for the Environment

Services.

10. LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment introducing the 2004 Local

Transport Plan (LTP) Annual Progress Report (APR) submitted to the Government

on 30 July 2004 covering performance during 2003/04 in terms of scheme delivery,

progress towards targets and capital spending levels as well as forecasts for 2004/05.

11. REQUESTS BY MEMBERS FOR ITEMS TO BE CONSIDERED AT A

FUTURE MEETING OF THE ENVIRONMENT POLICY REVIEW

12. ENVIRONMENT POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE - FORWARD PLAN

    To consider a report of the Chief Executive and Director of Environment setting out issues which the Committee may wish to discuss at future meetings

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this Committee or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
