1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

i) That the latest revenue budget monitoring position for the Environment services be noted.

2. Reason

2.1 Financial Regulations require the revenue budgets of services to be regularly monitored and for corrective action to be taken, if necessary, to control expenditure within approved cash limits.

2.2 Decisions on the revenue budget monitoring position will support all of the aims of the corporate strategy by focusing financial resources in these areas:

2. Stewardship of the environment

3. Achieving economic prosperity

4. Building strong and safe communities

5. Improving services

6. Developing councillors and staff
