1. Summary
1.1 The following decision is sought:
That authority be given to seek consents from the Regulatory Committee of Hampshire County Council for the Fishermen's Jetty project, which under Section 10 of the Southampton Harbour Act 1924 and Section 48 of the Southampton Harbour Act 1949, as amended by the River Hamble Harbour Revision Orders 1969 to 1986, grants conditional consent to the River Hamble Harbour Authority for harbour works in the navigation of the River Hamble, permitting the Authority to build and install pontooning at Warsash, to be known as `The Fishermen's Jetty'.
2. Reason
2.1 This decision supports Aim 4 `Strong and Safe Communities' of the Corporate Strategy by improving safety for fishermen and other users of the River Hamble.
