1. Summary

1.1. The following decision is sought.

That Councillor Mrs. P.G. Banks be appointed as the County Council's representative on the New Forest Health Partners Liaison Meetings.

2. Reason

2.1. New Forest District Council have established liaison meetings with their NHS Partners to consider matters of mutual interest. Such meetings normally take place bi-annually in February and September and are held at the Council Offices in Lyndhurst.

2.2. The District Council is seeking a County Council representative to attend the liaison meetings and Councillor Mrs. P.G. Banks' name has been put forward and has indicated her willingness to accept the role. It is for the Leader of the County Council to make this appointment.

3. Other Options considered and Rejected - Not to make the appointment.
