1. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
All Members who believe they have a personal or a personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed. To consider the report of the Director of Environment outlining progress with schemes in the Transport Capital Programme.
7. HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE AND MINOR CAPITAL WORKS PROGRAMME 2004/05 (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment outlining progress with regard to the 2004/05 Highway Maintenance and Minor Capital Works programmes and giving an update on the 2004/05 Highway Maintenance budget. The report also discusses the Traffic Management Act 2004 and Asset Management.
8. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMES 2004/05 (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment covering the main programmes of traffic management work in the New Forest area in 2004/05.
9. CASULATY REDUCATION PROGRAMMES (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment outlining progress on the Hampshire County Council and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Safety Camera Partnership casualty reduction programmes.
10. TRAVEL PLAN PROGRAMMES (INCLUDING SAFER ROUTES TO SCHOOLS) (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment providing a progress update on the workplace and school travel planning programmes for the New Forest area. The report also includes an update on the Safer Routes to Schools programmes for schemes within the New Forest area.
11. STREET LIGHTING REPORT - NEW FOREST (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment regarding the various elements of the street lighting service which affect the New Forest area.
12. OTHER HIGHWAY RELATED PROGRAMMES (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment covering a wide range of activities undertaken by specialist teams within the Environment Department.
13. PASSENGER TRANSPORT REPORT (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment outlining the services provided by the Passenger Transport Group and detailing the work undertaken in the New Forest area.
14. DATE, TIME AND VENUE FOR THE NEXT MEETINGS OF THE PANEL
It is proposed to hold meetings of the New Forest Highway and Transport Advisory Panel on the following dates:-
Tuesday 8 March 2005, and
Tuesday 20 September 2005
Both meetings will commence at 2.00 pm and will be held at the offices of New Forest District Council.
County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
