1. Summary

1.1 The following decisions are sought:

      (i) That, under Section 10 of the Southampton Harbour Act 1924 and Section 48 of the Southampton Harbour Act 1949, as amended by the River Hamble Harbour Revision Orders 1969 to 1986, conditional consent be granted to River Hamble Harbour Authority for harbour works in the navigation of the River Hamble, permitting the Authority to build and install pontooning at Warsash to be known as `The Fishermen's Jetty'.

      (ii) That the decision made on 14 September 2004 to seek consents from the Regulatory Committee for the project be revoked.

2. Reason

2.1 This decision supports Aims 1 to 5 of the Corporate Strategy by contributing to the statutory duties entailed in the management of the River Hamble.

3.1 Not to build the landing facility.
